Once I finally got to Q'alabar, and ran into this guy.

Needless to say, I was pissed off.  I died and lost some good $#!+@ trying to get here.  And all because he lied??

I calmly told him how inappropriate a thing like that was for him to do, explaining all that I'd gone through in my journey to Q'alabar.

Needless to say, I proved him wrong.

He called me stupid for the next thirty minutes, as I tried to get back to Q'alabar, telling me that he'd tricked me into killing myself.

I think he was just upset that I was better than he'd thought.

After hopping the portal in the subway, I finally made it back.  He was standing in the same spot, still mocking me with his @tells.

Oh yeah.  NOW I remember where we'd left off…

Thinking to humor him, I looked at his level.  What I saw astounded me.

He had surpassed my own power.  He was more powerful than even me now.

I congratulated his accomplishment in the appropriate fashion.

I still stand by this reaction.

Then, yet again, he surprised me.

Actually, I *did *care.  Damned if I was gonna let HIM know that though.

However, despite my stubborn attitude, Vishok always had a way of charming people into doing as he pleased.

I guess I'm just a sucker for a few kind words.

Well, I set him free.  He thanked me and bid me farewell.  I, on the otherhand, was left feeling empty and alone.  Without a cause, and without a friend to give me more experience.

The worst of it all though?  I never even got the chance to brag about my victory over the ursuin hordes!
