I decided to ride the resurgence of Diablo 2 as a topic by ‘remastering’ my own Diablo 2 comics.
This comic is eating up 2.4GB on my hard drive. It took 21 hours to finish. My hand hurts like hell. I think I switched art direction 3 times on this one comic.
But the comic is finally done.
AND I HATE IT.
Pretty sure that druid looks more like a badger than a bear. Or a fat puma or… Christ, I hate it.

I learned nothing from last week.
I’m conflicted on some of my past work. I mean… I have 3 regular female cast members, and one of the defining character traits of all three is something sexual (Karen: likes food sex. Amber: Lesbian. Angela: Big boobs / adulterous). Then there’s Crystal. Her whole personality was sex… until a man killed her for her sexual preferences.
I think I’m at least being A LITTLE even handed… Several of the men have defining character traits that are sexual in nature too (Kaigon: virgin. Ford: Cuckold. Jacob: tiny penis. Shawn: degenerate).
Still, it’s something I’ve grown increasingly aware of, especially given that my daughter likes to read my comics.
That said, I still want to stay true to already established character traits, even if I am working to flesh out the characters a bit more.
Hopefully today’s bonus panel reflects that.
