This is one of the busier comics I’ve done - both artwise, and dialogue. I’m hoping that third panel doesn’t age as poorly as some of the other ‘detailed’ comics I’ve done in the past. I have lots of prior comics / panels where I look back at them now, and wonder what I was thinking by drawing it ‘that way’.
Also, my 8 year old daughter guessed the alt-comic joke before even seeing it. Not sure if that means the extra-panel gag is that obvious, or if she’s just inheriting my sense of humor. Either way, proud of her!

Maybe there’s something to the whole ‘Kaigon is Superman’ after all. He heard them from miles away, arrived moments later, smashing through the ceiling after… flying, maybe?
I couldn’t fit Angela into this strip, but I wanted to introduce Amber into the storyline as well… I like how it kind of implies that Angela might not have escaped from Kaigon falling on her.
