After my embarassing departure from Arwic, I decided to head out for Yaraq. My instincts told me that this was where I could find someone who could help me. My instincts, and the guy who threw me out of Arwic.
I have no reason to think he would try to trick me though, so it seemed like a good idea.
No reason other than, you know, throwing me out of Arwic and sicking their cow on me.

Once I reached Yaraq, I decided the best course of action would be to ask around, and see if anyone knew where I might find this helpful person who could help me get help.

The townsfolk were less than eager to open up to a stranger like myself.
I decided to just check out the town on my own, and see if I could spot him with my keen ‘sense of finding smart people’ abilities.

Instead, I found something I hadn’t expected:

I lept into action, and dispatched the mighty warrior in the best fashion I knew how.

Once the Lugian was defeated, I noticed an Advocate Tower on the outskirts of town.
While there aren’t any more Advocates, the Queen, Elyssa, had stationed around them a couple of really stupid, worthless guards. I say worthless because I’ve ran up to them for help before, while I was being attacked, and they merely stood there. Guarding their tower.
Good job, Elyssa!

I asked one of the Sentries if he knew where I could find the smartest being in all of Yaraq.

He was less than helpful. Big surprise.

His answer was so crazy that I couldn’t find any words.

It just didn’t make any sense at all. A friendly Lugian?

I assumed I’d heard him wrong, and asked again.

Now I was just pissed. There’s never been a friendly Lugian in the history of EVER.
Obviously, the Sentry was mouthing off.

I couldn’t take it any more. I decided to talk with the head cheese. The man in charge. The Ultra Ultimate Town Sentry.

Elyssa, I will kill you.
I abandoned the notion that a Sentry was an intelligent life-form, and I headed back to Yaraq.
The Lugian was back… Perhaps it would be prudent to give the Sentry’s advice a chance?

Then I realized what I was thinking, and about @die’d my brain into oblivion for even considering such a stupid notion.
There was only one was to deal with a Lugian, and talking was not on the agenda.

So I threw a hammer at him.

This particular Lugian happened to be a little stronger than I’d anticipated.
Now, weaponless, I was forced to improvise.

What happened next is the stuff of legends.

This turned out to be a blessing, however…
It was this act that gave me the clue I needed. And gave my mission to save the world a place to start.
But then I quit, so
The end forever
